Welcome to Connections!
Here it is, brand new and still shiny: Connections, the official IPsmarx blog.
Why “Connections”? Well for one, we’re a VoIP solutions company that connects VoIPreneurs (small to medium VoIP providers) with everything they need to start and run sucessful VoIP businesses; businesses that in turn allow people from all over the globe to connect with each other in ways that just a few years ago seemed impossible. That’s a good reason, but it’s not really why. We chose “Connections” because that’s what we want to do with this blog – establish a connection between ourselves and you, the VoIPreneurs that are making this technology accessible and, along with your customers, inspiring its evolution and growth.
Our development team is constantly tinkering around and coming up with new applications, so from time to time you’ll see some promotional stuff in here. But we want our main focus to be on topics that interest you. We get a lot of questions about marketing – how to position a new calling cards in a crowded market, for example – and our resident Sales & Marketing Whiz, Carrie Fedders, will try to answer them here. John, our Partner Relations expert, will post relevant industry news and info and we may even some stories from our Tech Junkie William…if we can tear him away from his cubicle. And hopefully we’ll get tips, stories and feedback from you that will help Connections evolve into a valuable resource for anyone in the industry, from a one-man independent business to large enterprise providers.
