300 Million VoIP Subscribers Predicted by 2013
“While so far, VoIP has been driven largely by the likes of cable companies that want to disrupt the incumbent phone companies, the next big VoIP boost is going to come from mobile”, according to an article on Gigaom.com, Nearly 300M VoIP Subscribers Seen by 2013, by Om Malik.
VoIP really has become the way to do business now and in the future. Everyone wants to be involved; you are seeing carriers and even cable companies joining in. They are making deals to create partnerships and bundle packages using VoIP. They are all vying for the customer’s attention, which for the consumer- this is great news. There will be more options to choose from and everyone will be offering services to outsmart the competition.
VoIP is also becoming increasing popular in other countries due to the lack of infrastructure and regulations. “In the meantime, this move to mobile VoIP has prompted some to ask if we are getting closer to an all-VoIP phone. I think so”, states Om Malik.
All the reports point to an increase in subscribers and VoIP continues to be listed as the top industry; this really is a future that you should be a part of.
