Case Study Feature -Retail Store Recharge

Well if you haven’t heard about our latest innovative feature- be sure to keep reading. At IPsmarx we are always listening to our customers and trying to create and implement features that will allow their business to continue to grow and provide a niche in the market that will bring continued success. We believe that this new feature will do just that.

AA Telecom, one of our customers servicing the NY area found that there was a need to service the travelers that are in NY on holiday. Together we developed a Retail Store Recharge feature that allows customers to pay cash, sign up a phone to make calls from and use their services without registering for an account since they only need this service for a limited amount of time. To use this feature a customer can go into a Payment Based Reseller location, provide the number that they will be making calls from (landline or mobile) and the agent will check for the number in the database, if it isn’t there, it will be added. The customer then makes a payment to activate the account and they are ready to start making calls, no pin number or credit card required. The agent can also recharge the account through the IVR (Interactive Voice Response) if they don’t have access to a computer or internet at their location.

We believe this feature will open a door full of opportunities for customers that don’t have a credit card, don’t want to use one or just need limited use. This feature also offers convenience that hasn’t been available to the customer before. It will also allow the service provider to expand their reach to resellers outside the norm, again helping their business grow. So, watch the video, read the case study and calls us right away to add this feature to your platform, it will be well worth it!

Revolutionary Free Calling Cards Business Model

In this edition, we will explore a new case study we created for a customer that recently deployed our solution using a very different configuration. David Sanchez lives in the USA and was interested in providing calling cards targeted to companies instead of home users. This business model consists of a “free calling card” offered to clients as a gift at restaurants and stores that they can use to make calls to many different countries around the world – all for free!!

So, if the card is free, where is the profit coming from?

The different spin on this business model is that advertising messages are included on the cards so users listen to them anytime they activate their calls and before they make any new calls. The Calling Card owner makes money by charging companies to advertise on their Free Calling Card and, anytime the customer needs to make a new call, they will listen to new messages before getting connected.

This brilliant business model is revolutionizing the Calling Card Industry and is becoming increasingly more common. Its focus is on large companies that wish to reach specific markets of calling card users and therefore is a very powerful tool among groups of people who have immigrated and regularly call their native countries. For example, an advertisement that is focused on selling a product or service to someone who is from India, will most likely have a greater chance of reaching that market by advertising with a Calling Card directed to individuals who regularly call back to India.

If you need more information on this wonderfully innovative business model, please feel free to contact us.
