My Life With Breeze: A User’s Experience
I have been an avid Smartphone user for over 5 years. I have been a proud and addicted owner of an iPhone for 3, and before that I was a proud Canadian sporting a Blackberry (The blackberry was invented by a Canadian). When I switched from a Blackberry to an iPhone I also switched Mobile providers. Even though I was switching because I was an dedicated Apple customer I was still hoping to get a deal and save some money. I needed a Smartphone but I didn’t need the huge costs of using it every month.
Being a creative professional; I am always out on the go. I go to art galleries, seminars, meetings, have to call clients all over and I even travel. You know us creative types, we love California.
But one thing I don’t love is travelling and having to use my phone. I actually dread it. The roaming charges on top of the long distance charges really do add up. If you use your phone to make calls while abroad (local or long distance) or if you use your phone in your city of residence to make long distance calls, your next billing cycle on your phone bill will hurt your savings account. I don’t like having to think about the cost of calling my best friend who lives three major cities away when I really need her advice.
I wanted to talk to my family, my friends, my clients. I just wanted to make the calls and be worry free of the costs.
I downloaded the Breeze application developed by IPsmarx and I now have a VoIP outlet on my phone.
Using the Breeze Application I can make calls via my Wi-Fi connection. This is perfect for travelling because I don’t have to launch my network. I go into my settings on my phone and disable the data roaming. This is great, not only will I not be charged for long distance but I will not be charged for data roaming.
If I am in my home country, Canada I can use Breeze with my 3G network and not have to worry about roaming charges. I can use my existing data plan or even use Wi-Fi as well.
Using Breeze turns Smartphone’s into VoIP phones. Breeze supports not only the iPhone but also the Android. And soon the blackberry!
Although not everyone has a Smartphone, the market is opening. Offering VoIP as a mobile option builds new market opportunities for a VoIP service Provider.
Breeze has many different features. Take a look at our Breeze solution page on the IPsmarx.com website. You can pick and choose which features you want to promote to target and attract customers.
New Enterprise IP-PBX Features Now Available
In addition to our standard IP-PBX features, the following enterprise features are also available. These features were designed to enable VoIP Service Providers to meet the demands of larger enterprises.
Receptionist Console
Once the Administrator has assigned console rights to a user they can use this feature to view call activity for a group of extensions. Using the console, users can:
- View who is talking to who
- Transfer calls
- Send calls to voicemail
- Record calls
- Configure settings and call forwarding
- View calls on hold and parked calls
Fax Solution
Our integrated fax solution supports fax to email and email to fax. Faxes can be sent in MS Word, PDF, or Excel to a fax number, directly from a PC. You can also define fax numbers within the system.
Extension Monitoring
With this feature, employees can see who else is on the phone. For example, if a receptionist wants to transfer a call, they can easily see who is available to take the call.
Call Screening
This feature allows the IVR (Interactive Voice Response) to answer incoming calls and prompt the caller to announce their name. The recipient of the call can then decide to either accept or reject the call.
Call Recording
Using Call Recording, the Administrator can define which calls should be recorded based on extensions. Recorded calls will then be saved for others to hear based on permissions previously defined by the administrator. Duration of the call to be recorded can also be defined. For example, the first 2 minutes of each call can be recorded.
Outlook Integration
The IPsmarx IP-PBX solution is integrated with Outlook so end users can make calls directly from their Outlook address book.
Caller ID Routing
Based on the caller ID of specific callers, calls can be routed to a pre-defined extension. For example, sales reps can define the phone numbers of their priority clients so that when they call they never have to dial an extension. Instead, their clients will dial the main number for the company, and calls will be automatically directed to their sales rep.

THE Feature You Need to Increase Your Revenue in 2011
The calling card industry is rapidly changing and service providers need to stay ahead of trends to compete in this evolving market.
With the latest version of our DID Forwarding Switch, you have the unique opportunity to offer a NEW and exciting feature that will help you gain more customers while reducing your overhead in 2011!
WATCH this video to find out how it works!
In a traditional PINless calling card scenario, your customers will have to dial a local or toll free access number and then dial an international destination phone number. Then the call will connect.
What if your customers didn’t have to dial the international destination number? What if your system recognized who your customer was by their phone number (similar to caller ID) and was able to know exactly who they wanted to call? The system would actually connect the call without your customer having to dial the international destination phone number!
This is a feature that will change the way consumers make calls and, therefore, change the landscape for calling card providers in 2011. If you’re a calling card or PINless service provider, then I’m sure your customers have asked for this feature – if they haven’t they will soon!

Keep Your Overhead Low
Now, with the latest version of IPsmarx DID Forwarding Switch, Service Providers no longer need to buy DID’s (access phone numbers) in bulk. Instead, you can buy a few DID’s for all of your end users to share and the IPsmarx system will recognize the end users by the phone number they are calling from to route the call appropriately. This results in huge savings for service providers!

IPsmarx Technology Releases New DID Forwarding Switch to Enhance their Award Winning PINless Calling Platform
New feature enables PINless Calling Card Providers to differentiate their services by offering added convenience to their customers, while reducing their operating costs.
RESTON, VA, February 2, 2011 – IPsmarx Technology has announced the release of their new DID Forwarding Switch that enables PINless Calling Providers to offer a unique feature that will provide added convenience to their customers, while reducing their overhead cost.
Developed based on customer demand, the latest version of the IPsmarx DID Forwarding Switch allows end users to dial a local phone number that is automatically routed to an international destination, without having to enter a PIN or key in a lengthy international phone number. Using ANI recognition, the DID Forwarding Switch will recognize end users by the phone number they are calling from to route the call appropriately. This results in huge savings for service providers who will not have to purchase unique DID access numbers for each of their customers.
“In a traditional PINless calling scenario, end users will have to dial a local or toll free access number and then dial an international destination phone number when placing a call,” says Laura Sabet, Tech Sales Representative with IPsmarx, “With the latest version of our DID Forwarding Switch, end users simply dial one local phone number to reach their friends and family. This is a much more convenient solution for making international phone calls.”
End users can begin using this convenient calling service in 3 easy steps:
- Sign up for an account on service provider’s website.
- Enter the international phone numbers that they call frequently.
- Receive unique local phone numbers for each international phone number.
- Save the local numbers and dial anytime they want to reach their friends and family overseas.
To offer this unique service, IPsmarx provides all of the technology needed, including a complete E-commerce solution and wholesale carrier services.
“Clients often approach us to get our feedback on how to be successful in the VoIP industry. Differentiating your service and creating customer loyalty are two of the best ways to grow a VoIP business,” says Account Manager, Carrie Fedders, “By implementing DID Forwarding, our clients have the unique opportunity to offer a feature that is not widely advertised in the market, while providing convenience to their end users who will be encouraged to use the service more as a result.”
